Funky Power FM Posters

Just finished a couple of poster designs for power FM. Both are targeted towards the youth. One is A-Klass, an Awareness, Ability, Achievement and Abstinence campaign specifially for high schoolers (secondary school). The other is Campus Craze, a fun centered interactive series of events tailored for Universities around the country.

I love these two pieces, mostly because of the creative leeway I was given. Like I told the guy who recommended me for the job, “It’s good to find a client who lets you give your very best and is still willing to pay you what you believe your pains are worth.”

Hope you like them as much as I do!

Men of Valour

Elemental Edge recently completed branding work for the KPC Men’s Ministry, “Men of Valour”.

I handled the creative development and design of the logo and print branding.

Those of you who attended KPC, must’ve seen the awesome work of two outstanding Knights of the Edge, Peter Mukiibi and Arthur Nakaka who are currently full time with KPC, Media.

The brand development, campaign management and overall promotional strategy was handled by another Knight of the Edge, Muhumuza Edwin, also working at KPC, Marketing.

Kudos guys, this ministry is bound to ROCK!!

And… It’s a Blog!

So many years waiting, so many breaths held, so much anticipation… we’ve all been waiting for Elemental Edge Version 2.0. Yup, me too.

Sorry to dissappoint guys, but the most logical thing was to make it a blog. Pretty neat looking one though.

Why a blog?
1. It allows me to update the site really fast.
2. I can post a lot more stuff than if it was just a site.
3. It falls within the new Elemental Edge, a personal experiment and exploration of creativity, passion and commitment to the pursual of excellence. And lastly,
4. It expands on and aids the spirit of sharing, nurturing and mentoring talent which has always been at the heart of the Edge.

So as we wait for something really fancy… which might never come, except as stand alone projects, for now, enjoy the new Elemental Edge.

Knights of the Edge

Calling all pages and squires. Can you go to the next level? Can you rise up to the challenge? Ye padawan of feeble stature, art thou worthy of this calling? Are you truly worthy of this task that is set before us all?

Okay, time out. My apologies, I have an insatiable flair for the dramatic. What I’m trying to say is this:

After much deliberation, analysis and other funny brain things, I’ve opened up a Visual Effects and Multimedia School!

*waits for the applause to die down* Thank you, thank you.

Many of you have asked me if I can train people to do some of the good stuff we do in visual effects, and my previous answer has always been in the negative, citing a glaring lack of time. However, now that the team at Node Six is very capable of taking care of the company (I’m always getting in the way and slowing things down, so I’m now stuck with management duties), I find myself with a little time on my hands to pass on the skills Abba (God, Yahweh, for the less informed) has blessed me with.

So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, pages, squires and padawans all over Uganda, I give you:

The Knights of the Edge : the strength to go to the edge
